I'm in high school, and I've been flirting with girls, but I really don't know how. I looked up ways and some seem like obvious stupid things, so what are some good ways to flirt with a NON girlfriend?How can you flirt with a girl without making it obvious?

It really depends on the type of girl you want. All girls like compliments, so comment on their eyes or hair or something they are good at. Talking about a girls body can sometimes send the wrong message, so be careful with your compliments; keep it innocent.



If the girl is shy or quiet, don't be afraid to be loud or to joke with her, just don't expect the same response from her. Girls that are shy don't always appear to be flirting, even when they are. It can be hard for them to carry on a conversation with a person they like, and they may speak very little. Any effort to engage you in any way should be noticed, whether its offering you a sheet of paper in class, smiling at you, or making small talk. If they do make an effort to talk to you, its probably taking a lot of courage, so help them out. Don't be afraid to carry the conversation, but keep it on a subject you both know something about. Most girls are not quiet to people they know well, so if you start a friendship with her, she is far more likely to open up to you.



If the girl is more outgoing, joke with them. Girls have egos just like guys do, so keep that in mind. It's O.K. to pick on something a girl does, as long as you do not go on and on about it, or pick on something that may be embarrassing to her. You can also be more bold in the way you flirt, making it more obvious. Give them more compliments than you would a shy girl, and make them more obvious. Instead of commenting on how pretty their eyes are, you could comment on their general beauty, followed by an example i.e., ';You look really pretty today. I love how you curled your hair; it looks great!';



All girls love to laugh, so its O.K. to joke with them or cut up with them. Be yourself, but just make sure you remain aware of the type of girl you are speaking to, and adjust yourself accordingly. You don't have to change the way you are, just make sure you are not too overbearing to shy girls or that you don't hurt the ego of a girl that is more outgoing. You both should be able to open up as you get to know one another better.
